The Southern Sailing School, an RYA approved school on the Solent near Southampton, is probably the least "commercial" sailing school you'll find anywhere in the British Isles.  Run as a way of life, the love of the sea is a common denominator for all concerned as the owners, skippers, mates and the many people who have attended the school over the years will testify.
