Southern is one of the least commercial sailing schools in the UK. As the thousands of sailors who have attended the school will confirm, Southern Sailing is run as a way of life where decent values and a love of the sea have bonded everyone together for the past 35 years.

We invariably attract friendly, down-to-earth sailors who appreciate having a greater share of the instructor’s time, and more hands-on practice, in smaller groups aboard our 'working' sea-boats.
